You’re One In A Million.org Team and The Women’s Alliance
Kick-Start National Campaign at NASDAQ to Raise $1 Million
for Women Transitioning Into the Workforce

You’re One In A Million.org Team, Nicole Wild, Executive Director of The Women’s Alliance, Linda Peterson, Peterson’s Harley-Davidson of Miami, and Thomas Cook, Thomas Cook & Associates, kick-started the national You’re One In A Million.org campaign to raise $1 million for women transitioning to work by presiding over the closing bell at NASDAQ, ringing a close to a historical high market day.

You’re One In A Million.org is a campaign to raise awareness and $1 million to support The Women’s Alliance, a nonprofit organization that assists low-income women transitioning into the workforce, by raffling off the first-ever Tigertail, a custom Softail Harley-Davidson with a crystal skin made of Swarovski crystals. One dollar buys a chance to win this amazing motorcycle, and make a big difference in one life at www.youreoneinamillion.org.

You’re One In a Million.org is the brainchild of three passionate dreamers who formed a group to prove that “all things are possible if you are aligned with your passions.” This group, called Power Behind The Passion, set out to raise one million dollars for The Women’s Alliance (www.thewomensalliance.org), a national organization led by passionate women who help other women realize their dreams of transitioning into the workforce.

Searching for ways to be transformative fundraisers, the team began a series of trades, beginning with the book, The Passion Test. Within four trades and one big business deal, the group had what it needed to reach its goal: The Tigertail, a Softail Harley-Davidson with a crystal skin made of Swarovski crystals.
